In order to be considered for this scheme, eligible practices had to already have attained the Goodpractice standards for a minimum of 10 continuous years. Hard work from all the practice staff have ensured that we have cosistently maintained our high standards.

You can be sure that masks and gloves are worn at all times, fresh gloves are worn for each patient and all surgery staff wash their hands with hibiscrub between patients.

If you have any question regarding cross infection control do not hesitate to ask any staff member.

You have no need to worry about discussing this problem with Edward or Mary and they will be able to help you. Often it can be as simple as showing you improved toothbrushing and flossing techniques.

 An individual implant may be used to restore an area where a single tooth is missing or multiple dental implants may be used to restore  a series of missing teeth, eliminating the need for partials or dentures.

Did you know that the Mayan civilization has been shown to have used the earliest known examples of  implants, dating back over 1,350 years? While excavating Mayan burial sites in Honduras in 1931, archaeologists found a fragment of mandible of Mayan origin, dating from about 600 AD. This mandible had three tooth-shaped pieces of shell placed into the sockets of three missing lower incisor teeth.
